Since 1999, Dr. Lynady has been practicing a different procedure than typical your typical chiropractor, which is a rather painless, yet more effective procedure that is commonly known as Upper Cervical Care. Other names for this procedure are Orthospinology, NUCCA or Grostic, but they essentially the same procedure. It is a gentle non-invasive approach that is safe and effective for all ages, which focuses moving your C1 (Atlas) & C2 (Axis) vertebrates into alignment, which will bring your entire spine into alignment.
The upper cervical procedure is unlike the more painful, yet common chiropractic procedure that comes with the “snap, crackle, and pop”, which happens when a chiropractor uses spinal manipulation to relieve the pain caused by a misalignment in the spine. This spinal manipulation procedure often only amount to temporary relief because they do not correct the underlying cause, which is most often your Atlas and Axis not properly aligned, causing your head to be imbalanced on your body, resulting in your spine having a misalignment.
Patients that have spent much of their life visiting traditional chiropractors quickly find upper cervical care to be a welcomed change.
